Search Warrant @ Extended Stay

On Wednesday, 08/05/20, at approximately 8 PM, members of The Northern Bristol County Drug Task Force, assisted by MA DOC Canine Max and his handler, served a search warrant at 280 South Washington Street, The Extended Stay America in Norton. Seized in the raid were approximately 24 Grams of Crack Cocaine and 14 Grams of Heroin/Fentanyl and $330.00 dollars cash. along with multiple items of drug paraphernalia secreted in a room. Arrested at the scene was Michael Demers, 56 Years of age, who is homeless. Demers was taken into custody without incident. He is charged with Trafficking of a Class A Substance Heroin/Fentanyl and Trafficking of a Class B Substance/Crack Cocaine. Also arrested during the raid was Leann Souza, age 30 of Middleboro, on Possession of a Class B Substance/ Adderall and Nicole Medeiros age 42 of Taunton, on warrants out of Taunton District Court for motor vehicle and drug charges.
