K9 Ryder

We are happy to announce the newest addition to the Norton Police Department, K9 Ryder.  Ryder was appointed September 14, 2023, by the Selectboard.  He is 11 weeks old and attending the puppy academy.  He will be actively involved in community policing assignments throughout the town. He came to us from Golden Opportunities for Independence (GOFIDOG)service dog program.

His handler is Det. Rachel Mailloux who is a 15 year veteran, assigned to the Detective Division and also a part time SRO in the elementary schools. 

He is very excited to get to work!
