Life Insurance
The Town offers three different life insurance options. These plans are open to new hires or during open enrollment.
The open enrollment for life insurance is only every 3-4 years.
- Boston Mutual Basic Life Insurance Plan -
- Provides a $4,000 Death Benefit and a $4,000 Accidental Death and Dismemberment Benefit. The Town pays 75% of the premium cost and the employee pays 25%.
- Boston Mutual Basic Plan Summary
- Boston Mutual Voluntary Life Insurance Plan -
- Provides coverage up to $400,000 and is available at the employee’s expense. Employees can also add additional policies for their spouse and/or children.
- Boston Mutual Voluntary Plan Summary
- Colonial Voluntary Whole Life Insurance -
- Provides various levels coverage and is available at the employee’s expense. Employees can also add additional policies for their spouse and/or children.
