2026 Swim Lessons

Lessons are held at the Everett Leonard Park & Pool at 6 Parker St., Norton, MA  02766

When registering, PLEASE make sure to choose a SESSION and a LEVEL!

Space is limited, so please register early.

Lessons are $125 per session per child per session.  Swimmers are welcome to participate in more than one session.

Our swim lessons are taught by our certified lifeguards.  

Saturday Session:  Level 1-4 -  One class per week on Saturday for 8 weeks starting June 27 - Aug 22 (no class on July 4th). Weather make up class will be on Sundays.  

Infant Class:  One class per week on Saturday for 6 weeks. Weather make up class will be on Sunday.  This class is $99.  Dates to be determined

Adult and Me Class:

• June 27 // July 11, 18, 25 // August 1, 8

Swim Level Descriptions:

• Infant -- (6 - 18 months) - Introduction to water and play in the water.  Must wear swim diapers.
• Adult & Me -- (ages 2 & 3 with parent) – This is a beginner class and is recommended for children with little or no water experience.  Must wear swim diapers if not potty trained.
• Level 1 – Introduction to water skills and elementary aquatic skills. Students should be comfortable in shallow water.  FULL NO LONGER AVAIL
• Level 2 – Fundamental aquatic skills. These students should be able to swim 20 yards without assistance.
• Level 3 – Beginning of stroke development. Students should be able to swim 20 yards without assistance.
• Level 4 – Stroke improvement and refinement. Students will learn confidence in strokes.

If uncertain which level is right for your child, the instructors will evaluate them at a designated time prior to the first session and place them in the appropriate group. Please call 508-285-0228 to arrange for a free evaluation.

• Levels 3 & 4                                                              9:45am -- classes are 45 minutes
• Adult & Me (ages 2 & 3)                                          10:30am -- classes are 30 minutes
• Infant (6 - 18 months)                                              11am -- classes are 30 minutes

Cancellations:  Please check our Facebook page at @nortonparksandrec.  We will also make every attempt to email and/or text you as well.  Weather related cancellations will be made up on the Friday following the canceled class.

Registration: Registration forms can be completed online by clicking the purple button below or printed off from below and returned to the Parks & Rec office.  Please register each swimmer separately and if wanting more than one session, please do that separately as well.  The registration form is also attached below should you want to print it off and turn it in.  If you use the hard copy, you can email it to [email protected] or mail it back to the address below.  You can also email or call the Parks & Rec office for a hard copy to be send to you.

Payments:  These can be done online via the button below.  You can pay for all your swimmers/sessions in one transaction online. Please note there are fees associated with paying online.  Cash or check (made payable to Town of Norton) can be brought or mailed to the Parks & Rec office (72 East Main St, Norton, MA  02766).  Please DO NOT mail cash!
