Become a Parks & Rec Sponsor!
Norton Parks & Rec Department is one department in the town of Norton that has sponsorship opportunities to highlight local businesses. These sponsorships help pay for programs that the department hosts and keep any registration/user fees low so that people can enjoy and participate in the programs/events offered.
Families and individuals are welcome to help support the department as well! Any donation, no matter how big or small, is appreciated and helps make the programs run. Just select Other Amount in the Sponsorship Desired drop down menu.
One of the main beneficiaries of the sponsor program is the Everett Leonard Park and Pool (ELP). The pool has a nominal town budget to cover the basic costs of the pool but much of what it costs to run the pools has to be raised, hence the rentals of the park on weekends. By opening up sponsor opportunities, we hope to be able to make the pool available to the public more often.
There are six levels of sponsorship available starting this year. They are:
Norton N – You just want to support the department.
Grey ELP OR Grey Event – you want to do more and be seen more.
- Your sign (18x24 corrugated plastic) will be at either the ELP or at one Parks & Rec event. Signs at ELP will be up around the pool area and will be seen by those using the baseball softball field along with those that rent the park and of course those that come to the pool. ELP signs will be up from May – September.
- Signs at an event will also be 18X24 corrugated plastic and will be at one specific event of your choosing (see list of events below). In the case of the Halloween parade, your logo will be incorporated into the Halloween Sponsor Banner which marches 2nd down the parade route.
White – You want your sign to be at ELP AND a Park & Rec event.
Black – You want your sign to be at ELP, and 2 Park & Rec Events.
Purple – You want all of the above AND to sponsor one of the events.
- The event sponsorship entitles you to having your logo on the registration materials, on the event’s digital poster and on the event’s website.

Deadlines:
Of course, this is a rolling deadline but to meet publicity deadlines, however, the earlier you show your support for Parks & Rec the better. For maximum exposure please be sure to secure your sponsorship by May 1st.
