Municipality Work Notification Form

MassDOT will be conducting work in your community soon.  The following project information is being forwarded for distribution to appropriate Municipal Departments.

Project Location (City/Town): Norton
Estimated Start Date of Work: 10/18/23
Project Type: Roadway Reconstruction and Related Work (Including Signals) along a section of Route 123 (East Main St)
Description of Work: Paving of surface course on Rte. 123 Eastbound from approx. 130 East Main St. to South Washington St.
Hours of Operation (Day/Night): 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Description of Traffic Management: The Contractor plans to use alternating traffic via police details to keep traffic flowing through Rte. 123.
Estimated Duration of Work: The Contractor plans to complete paving operations in one day at the hours listed above.

Drivers traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution. 
All Scheduled work is weather-dependent and/or may be impacted due to an emergency situation.
