Spring Hydrant Flushing begins Monday, April 3, 2023

Spring has begun, and temperatures are rising, the Norton Water Department will begin its Spring flushing program starting this coming week.
The regular schedule for the flushing program will be Sunday night through Thursday Night, beginning between 7 and 8 PM until the program is finished. However, for the first two weeks, we will only be flushing four nights instead of five, so the program officially begins Monday, April 3rd, between 7 and 8 PM and will continue through the night flushing will continue at the same time through Thursday.
Starting in the King Phillip Rd, Bay Rd, and Plain St. area, this flushing will most likely temporarily cause discolored water on these roads and possibly any roads off them.
