Information regarding the Community Electricity Aggregation Program Rate and the National Grid Rate Increase

Norton is part of the Mass CEA (Community Electricity Aggregation) program.

Our current standard rate in this program is $0.10470 cents per KWH
(National Grid's new rate is $0.3389 cents per KWH), and our contract with the CEA is valid until December 2023.

Residents participating in the aggregate program will NOT see the increase announced.

Any resident can opt-in or opt-out of the CEA program at any time
If you had opted out at any time, this would be a great time to opt-in.

However,  I also want to mention that if you had chosen to get your own supplier (not part of the Aggregate or National Grid) and go into a contract with a supplier privately, it would be best for you to check with the supplier (for example Constellation Energy) on your rate and duration of your contract.  There could be penalty costs to end your contract early.

I recommend that everyone do their own research to make the best decision.
