Quad recovered from Norton Reservoir

On 12/31/2017, at approximately 1pm, Norton police and fire departments responded to the Norton Reservoir for a report of a quad motorcycle that was partially submerged through the ice. Norton emergency personnel were on scene for approximately one hour while members of the Norton Fire Department went onto the ice and entered the frigid water to retrieve the quad and ensure that no one was injured. The quad was ultimately removed by personnel and no one was found near the vehicle.
Anyone with any information leading to the owner of the vehicle is asked to contact the Norton Police Department. The incident is under investigation by Ptlm. David Ruskey.
