Officer on foot patrol makes drug arrest

On Monday, 11/13/2017, at 9:56pm, Norton Patrolmen Bryan King and Nicholas Precourt were on foot patrol on Norton Glen Road when they encountered a male and a female acting suspiciously near a motor vehicle. After further investigation, the officers discovered that the female had in her possession two syringes filled with Heroin. The officers were able to place the female into custody before she had the opportunity to use a syringe. The female was placed under arrest and charged with possession of a class A substance. She appeared in the Attleboro District Court today, 11/14/2017.
