Elm St. crash

On Friday, 4/12/2019, at 8:28pm, Norton Police and Fire personnel responded to the area of 47 Elm Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash. Officers discovered the vehicle to be down an eight foot embankment off the roadway. The vehicle had extensive damage and found the operator, a 28 year old male from Raynham, in the vehicle with serious injuries. The operator was trapped inside the vehicle and was removed by the Norton Fire personnel. The operator was transported to Rhode Island Hospital by the Norton Fire Department. No other vehicle was involved in the crash. No further information is available at this time. The crash is under investigation by Patrolman Jarrad Morse and Detective Nicholas Precourt.
