arrest made on hoax call

An arrest was made today in connection with the incident at 274 East Main Street in Norton earlier this morning. After an investigation by Norton Police Detectives, with the assistance of Metro-LEC Detectives and the FBI, Alicia Mitchell, age 36, of Boston, was arrested in Boston by Boston Police at approximately 1pm. Mitchell was turned over to Norton Police Detectives and ACT Team. Mitchell was transported to the Norton Police station and is being held on $15,000 cash bail. Mitchell will appear in the Attleboro District Court on Thursday morning.
Mitchell is charged with false report to police, threatened use of a firearm, interfering with a police investigation and disturbing the peace.
