Cultural Council Speaking at the Charter Commission

Walk the walk. You can make the time if you really want to make a difference. You're smart. You have ideas. Share them in a way that’s useful! And if running for an elected position just isn't your thing, there are countless appointed boards and committees with open seats. For example, the Norton Cultural Council is a 22-member body that needs a minimum of 5 members to operate. They currently have 6 active members, two of whom will soon have to step down due to term limits set by the state (Mass Cultural Council). If they’re not filled, they can’t allocate (free!) grant money to local events. Not sure what the council does?
Watch this video for a quick presentation and then contact the Select Board if you’re interested in being appointed to this or any other boards. Get involved!
