COVID-19: Getting Help with Housing Costs and the New Eviction Diversion Initiative

Massachusetts recently announced a new Eviction Diversion Initiative to help households as the eviction moratorium in Massachusetts expires. Part of our work is reaching out to networks across the Commonwealth to reach more residents with new and expanded resources, including rental assistance and legal resources, and more at www.mass.gov/CovidHousingHelp.

COVID-19: Getting Help with Housing Costs
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has resources available to help residents impacted by COVID-19 to cover rent and mortgage payments.

Residents can also call 2-1-1, which features a language line and trained staff.

Time is of the essence – there is funding available NOW and the earlier households apply for aid, the quicker they will receive it.
