Food Resources & Assistance

SNAP (aka Food Stamps). Norton Human Services (at the Norton Senior Center) can help all Norton residents process SNAP applications. Call us at 508-285-0235 or apply online at dtaconnect.eohhs.mass.gov   Note that this is an income eligible program ($1980/mo for 1 person, $2670/mo for 2 people, etc.)

Cupboard of Kindness Norton's Food Pantry, is open for all Norton residents on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of every month 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM. This town pantry is located behind Town Hall at 70 East Main Street. 508-285-3398. Registration is required. Download the registration form from the pantry website at: cupboard of kindness.org   You can also fill out the form (safely) at the pantry. This is currently a drive-through Grab & Go program due to the Coronovirus pandemic. If you do not drive call 508-285-3398 and delivery can be arranged.

Grab-&-Go Heat-&-Eat at the Norton Senior Center. This program is for Norton residents over the age of 60. Call ahead (by 9:30 AM on Monday of each week) and reserve a prepared meal that you can pick up each Tuesday and Thursday. Sponsored by Bristol Elder Services. Call us to sign up 508-285-0235. Pick-up is between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

Soup Monthly soup allotments from Blount Soup are available free to all Norton residents. Call the Senior Center 508-285-0235 to register and for distribution dates/times. 

Meals on Wheels for Norton residents over the age of 60. Nutritious meals delivered to the home on a daily basis. Please call Bristol Elder Services Information and Referral line to register:  508-675-2101 or 774-627-1390

Commodities Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) This is a monthly brown-bag program where income eligible, senior residents will receive two bags of nutritious groceries plus fresh fruits and vegetables the 3rd Wednesday of every month. To qualify a resident must be 60 or older and meet the following gross monthly guidelines: (Household size 1, Monthly income $1354) / (Household size 2, Monthly income $1832) / (Household size 3, Monthly income $2311).

St. Mary's Norton - St. Vincent de Paul Society   If you find yourself in an EMERGENCY situation and are in desperate need of food or financial assistance, please call St. Vincent de Paul Society 508-409-7311. Available to all Norton residents.

Hebron Food Pantry 11 Sanford Street, Attleboro (located in the church across from the YMCA)  774-331-2120  Free meals  are served to-go and are available to all residents of Norton and surrounding towns. Please bring proof of residency.

Food N' Friends  The Attleboro Area Interfaith Collaborative offers free meals served to-go at various area locations. 508-222-2913  Available to all residents of Norton and surrounding towns. Please bring proof of residency.
