Parades

The Norton Veteran’s Council cordially invites you to join us on May 29, 2017 for our annual Memorial Day Parade.

In the event of inclement weather, please visit the Norton Veterans Website and/or Norton local cable channel.

The participants in the parade, including the Norton High School Band, will assemble at Henri A.Yelle School Parking lot at 9:30 a.m. and step off at 10:00 a.m.  All Active and Retired Military personnel are welcome to march.

Route will be east on Main Street to the stone monument at corner of Pine/Main Street.  After brief ceremony we will reform and proceed west on Main Street to Fillmore-Nason Square (Norton Common).

We will then move on to Master Sergeant Trent Memorial for a brief ceremony.

Please note: Pine Street Cemetery will not be included in parade route.

Our 2017 Memorial Day Parade Marshall will be Clarence “Butch” P. Rich, Jr.
