Motor Vehicle Failed to Stop

On 7/18/2016 at approximately 8:05pm, Norton Police Patrolman John Worrall attempted to stop a vehicle on West Main Street at CVS Pharmacy.  The operator, Kristylyn McKenna, age 36, of Rehoboth was operating the vehicle without a valid driver’s license.  The vehicle continued to travel on West Main Street at a high rate of speed without stopping.  Ptlm. Worrall continued his attempt to stop the vehicle as the vehicle traveled into Attleboro.  The vehicle then entered Route 95 South from Route 123 in Attleboro.  As the vehicle approached the Rhode Island state border, Ptlm . Worrall terminated the pursuit.  As he traveled over the border, Ptlm. Worrall discovered that the vehicle had crashed into a guardrail in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.  McKenna was transported to Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket for non-life threatening injuries.

McKenna is being charged by Norton Police for failure to stop for a police officer, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.
