B&E SUSPECT ARRESTTED
On 8/21/09 at 1047 Hrs., Norton Police were dispatched to a possible B&E that had just occurred at a residence on Richardson Ave. Officers were advised the homeowners’ returned home to find a bathroom window open and they observed a male subject fleeing the area on foot. The suspect was described as a white male, wearing a white t-shirt.

Officers were also advised that a white pick-up truck was parked outside of the residence, possibly belonging to the suspects(s). Ptlm. Cota advised officers that the registration came back to of James Curry, age 30, of 109 Dean Street, Norton MA.

 Officers arrived on scene and began checking the area. Det. Lt. Thomas Petersen and Ptlm. Zaccardi observed a male subject, identified as James Curry walking on foot in the area. Curry matched the description provided by the homeowners, as the person they observed fleeing from the residence. Curry was detained by the officers.

 After a brief investigation, Curry admitted to entering the home. Curry claimed his vehicle had broken down and he was attempting to use the telephone.

.Curry was advised he was being placed under arrest for B&E daytime and possession of burglarious tools. Curry was transported to the Norton Police Station for booking. Curry was held awaiting arraignment at Attleboro District Court.

The incident remains under investigation by Det. Lt. Thomas Petersen, Det. Stephen Desfosses, Ptlm. Jeffrey Zaccardi and Ptlm. Marc Robichaud.
