On February 27, 2009 Norton Police Detectives and detectives from the Northern Bristol County Drug Task Force executed search warrants in the Town of Norton.
The warrants were for a dormitory room at Wheaton College and a vehicle. Warrants were obtained after a two month investigation by led by Norton Det. Todd Bramwell, Det. Lt. Thomas Petersen and Det. Stephen Desfosses. Members of the Northern Bristol County Drug Task Force also assisted.
Detectives arrested Gregory Marangos, age 22, of Stamford Ct, Marangos is a student at Wheaton College, Norton MA.
Marangos was charged with Trafficking a Class B substance, Cocaine.
Police seized a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta, over 20 grams of cocaine, and a small amount of cash.
Marangos was being held at the Norton Police Station on cash bail, pending arraignment at Monday at Attleboro District Court.
Assisting in the arrest were Ptlm. Michael McKenney, Ptlm. David Ruskey and Ptlm. Rachel Samuelson, Task Force Detectives Richard Campion and Task Force Detective Frank Archer.
