NORTON POLICE ARREST SUSPECT IN RAPE
On February 5, 2008, Norton Police Detectives arrested the following individual on a warrant, charging him with (1) one count of Rape:
Jimmy Lee Cataloni
Age 23
2 Merritt Place
Attleboro MA
Cataloni was arrested following an investigation by Norton Police Detective Stephen Desfosses and Investigator Thomas Carroll of the Bristol County District Attorneys’ Office. The victim, age 17, was known to Cataloni. The incident was reported in December, and had been under investigation.
Arresting officers were Desfosses, who was assisted by Det. Lt. Thomas Petersen, Det. Todd Bramwell, Ptlm. Jeffrey Zaccardi and Ptlm. Greco of the Norton Police Department. Attleboro Police Officers assisted at the scene.
Cataloni was held overnight at the Norton Police Station on $10,000 cash bail. He was transported to the Attleboro District Court on Friday for arraignment
