On Wednesday, 10/7/09, Norton Police were dispatched to 32 East Hodges Street for a report of a Breaking and Entering into a residence. The owner of the residence called 911 to report that, while she was home and inside the residence, she heard footsteps on the first floor. The homeowner shouted and then heard fooststeps as if someone was running. She then heard her house alarm activated as the front door was opened. She exited the residence and observed a vehicle pulling out of the driveway and observed a male operator.
The vehicle description is reported as a maroon colored Jeep Grand Cherokee with gray trim around the bottom of the vehicle and a Massachusetts registration possibly containing 7C. The suspect's description is reported as a white male with short dirty blonde hair, thin build, clean shaven, possibly in his 40s, wearing a green long sleeve shirt.
