On 9/24/09 State Police and Taunton police arrested, Leon R. Pacheco, age 28 of 25 Chase St., Taunton MA.
Pacheco was arrested on a Norton Police warrant for Receiving Stolen Property over $250.00
This arrest is the result of an investigation by Norton police detectives into a housebreak on Oak St. in Norton.
Pacheco was operating a 2001 Gold BMW in Taunton on Monday September 21, 2009, when he was stopped for a motor vehicle infraction by Tpr. John Santos of the Massachusetts State Police. Pacheco and Jeffrey Chapman, age 34, also of Taunton, were in the vehicle when stopped. Tpr. Santos recovered a large amount of jewelry, which was later found to be taken from the Norton housebreak.
Pacheco was transported to the Taunton District Court for arraignment.
