On Sunday March 7, 2010, at 1216 AM Norton Police were dispatched to 110 West Main Street, for a noise complaint arising from an ongoing party. 110 West Main St is comprised of a series of five conjoined condominiums primarily occupied and rented by students of Wheaton College.
On several previous occasions over this school year, Norton Police have responded to similar noise complaints arising from student parties. Past incidents have resulted in verbal warnings, summons to court and counseling by Wheaton College Staff. On this night, the reporting individual stated that many youths were in the parking lot making a great deal of noise and could be seen drinking alcohol.
Upon arrival officers observed approximately 25 individuals in the party lot. Many of the individuals appeared to be under the age of 21. As the officers arrived many of the students scattered into various condo units. Officers found that Unit 3 appeared to be hosting the largest gathering. Officers reported seeing over fifty individuals in the basement. Attleboro Police were called for assistance. Beer cans and bottles of liquor were visible throughout the condo. Despite repeated attempts, the individuals refused to open the door for investigating officers. Officers observed one subject who appeared to be passed out in a chair in the living room. Officers then made entry into the unit. That subject was evaluated and later released. Officers then began investigating the other individuals.
10 males and 7 females were found to be under the age of 21 and were subsequently placed under arrest for being minors in possession of alcohol. All individuals are Wheaton College Students.
The following individuals were arrested and will be arraigned in Attleboro District Court on various dates : March 11, 16, 18 and 23rd

The renter of the condominium Daniel GENEEN of 110 West Main Street, Unit 3, age 20, and host of the underage drinking party was charged with the following offenses:
CH.138/34C Person Under the Age of 21 in Possession of Alcohol.
CH 138/34 Furnishing Alcohol to Minor (Social Host Criminal Liability)
CH.272/53 Disturbance of the Peace:
CH. 94C/34 Possession of Marijuana.
