Burial Permits may be obtained at the Town Clerk’s office during normal business hours, Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, evening hours on Thursdays 4:30 - 7:30 PM. If the need arises outside of normal business hours, you may obtain a permit at the Norton Police Station.
Burial Permits are $10 and can be paid by cash or check made out to the Town of Norton.
To expediate the process of preparing the permit, you may fax the death certificate to 508-285-0297 but we ask that you also call the Town Clerks office at 508-285-0230 to make us aware that you are faxing the information and approximate time of pick up.
